Correctional Service of Canada (CSC)
CSCS has been a strong supporter of restorative justice at the federal level. Their website has excellent resources on RJ, especially Restorative Justice Week, which is observed nationally each November
Victim Offender Mediation Association (VOMA)
VOMA is an international network of restorative justice practitioners and organizations. Their site has many excellent resources for learning more about the principles and practices of restorative justice.
Mennonite Central Committee (MCC)
MCC is an international peacemaking and relief organization that has been a pioneer in the area of Restorative Justice. MCC has helped to fund and staff organizations such as CMS as part of their Restorative Justice Initiatives.
Victims Voice
This is a program of MCC Canada (see above). Victims' Voice seeks to address the revictimization of victims in the criminal justice system, to create understanding about victims among practitioners who work within the system and to give emotional and informational support directly to victims through victim-centered programs.
Howard Zehr
Howard Zehr is the author of many books and writings in the area of restorative justice. He is currently a professor at Eastern Mennonite University.
